The Hotel Savoy is located at the cross streets of Wyandotte & 9th Street in Kansas City, Missouri.  Established in 1888 and restored in the mid 1980s, the Savoy has entertained many famous people over the years.  During it's peak in the early 1900s it was known as a first-class hotel and served such famous people as Theodore Roosevelt, William Howard Taft, and John D. Rockefeller.  Now the hotel not only has the reputation of being one of Kansas City's oldest landmarks, but also the reputation for being haunted.  So perhaps these famous people are still lingering around the Savoy.

This is a view of the Savoy Grill.  It's attached to the hotel and is known as Kansas City's oldest restaurant.  It's also known as one of the most haunted places in KC.  It is reported that many of the employees won't even go down to the basement because of all the unusual activities there.  It has been said that employees of the hotel have experienced hearing footsteps and doors opening and closing on their own. It's also been reported that patrons of the grill have experienced silverware being pushed to the floor by unseen hands.
